How we hire.
Five stages, no take-home marathons, and a written answer at every step. Here is what to expect before you apply.
The five stages
Each stage has one purpose. If it would not help either of us make a decision, we do not run it.
- 01
Application review
3 business daysA member of the team reads every application, alongside your CV and any work you want to point us to.
- No keyword filters or automated rejections
- A reply either way, always in writing
- 02
Intro call
30 minutesA conversation with the hiring lead about your experience, what you want next, and how the role is scoped.
- Compensation range shared on this call
- Your questions get as much time as ours
- 03
Technical session
60 to 90 minutesA practical problem close to the work the team does, worked through together in your own stack.
- No algorithm puzzles or whiteboard trivia
- Use your usual tools and documentation
- 04
Team conversation
45 minutesMeet two people you would work with day to day, and talk through how you approach ownership, review and disagreement.
- Your chance to interview us as well
- A delivery lead joins for client-facing roles
- 05
Offer
Within a weekA written offer covering level, scope, compensation and start date, plus the first project you would join.
- Two weeks to decide, with no pressure calls
- Detailed feedback if the answer is no
Four qualities, in every role
The same four things guide every conversation, whatever the role or seniority.
- 01
Judgment
Sound calls with incomplete information, and the reasoning to back them.
- 02
Ownership
You follow your work into production and stay with it after launch.
- 03
Clear writing
Decisions, trade-offs and handovers written down so others can act on them.
- 04
Curiosity
A genuine interest in the client’s business, not only the technology.
Good to know
A few commitments we make to every candidate.
Interviews in English or Arabic
Choose whichever you are most comfortable in. It has no bearing on the decision.
Nothing unpaid, nothing endless
No task runs longer than 90 minutes, and we never ask for work on live client code.
You can always reapply
A no is about the role and the timing. Six months later, you start a fresh process.
Know how it works? Start the process.
